When running a local scan it is not finding some .exe files

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 Inventory

Situation

When scanning for installed products the inventory scan does not find the 'producer.exe' and 'recorder.exe' that are installed by CamStudio.

Resolution

To use these files specifically for creating a Local Software Product, please remove 'producer.exe' and 'recorder.exe' from the 'IGNORE.DAT' file present in path %ZENWORK_HOME%/bin

Cause

'producer.exe' and 'recorder.exe' have names common with some Windows Driver Executables and are excluded by default from filescan.
