Unable to create policy using "Double Byte Characters" in the name field

Access Manager 3.1 installed and working fine. Administrator logs into the Admin Console, navigate to Policies and tries to create a new policy. Specifying the policy name using "Double byte characters" ( ex: 汉语语文) and applying the change, an "java.lang.NullPointerException" error message is displayed on the browser. Although there is no clear documentation explaining that double byte character support in policies is not supported, it would appear that this is indeed the case.

DOuble byte character support in policies is not available with Acecss Manager 3.1 or 3.2. It is being considered for the next release. In the meantime, need to use a naming convention that includes standard and not double byte characters.
