Not able to remove Discovery/Deployment tasks from ZCC

Situation

One or more deployment or discovery tasks have been created.
The tasks have been configured to use a Windows or Linux proxy.

Deletion of one or more tasks fails.

Error message in ZENworks Control Center:
"...
Unable to delete object.: com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.exceptions.InternalDataModelException:
org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: error performing bulk delete
..."

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2.2 - see KB 7010757 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7010757

Cause

The zProxy table in the ZCM SQL database contains leftover data which means that a related deployment or discovery task can not be deleted.
