Situation
While installing the Access Manager Appliance (AMA) on an ESX server with 4GB RAM allocated, the installed detected only 3GB and throws the following message.
"The system has just 3 GB of memory , Suggested minimum is 8GB,You may proceed with the installation, some services may fail .Do you want to continue?"
The install could continue without any problems, so the error was cosmetic. The issue appears to be related to VMWare as the same message was not displayed on physical hardware.

Resolution
Ignore the cosmetic error, or install the Access Manager appliance on a host that adheres to the minimum requirements.
