Unhandled exception error when attempting to start ZMD

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 3

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux Support Pack 3

Situation

When attempting to start ZMD (rczmd start) it fails with the following error seen in "/var/log/zmd-messages.log":

ERROR Daemon Unhandled Exception

System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range.

Resolution

Verify that none of the certificate files located in "/etc/ssl/certs/" have a 0 file size, if there are any, move or remove these before starting ZMD again.

Cause

When ZMD starts it attempts to read all the certificate files located in "/etc/ssl/certs" and normally it is not expected to have any certificate files that is 0 bytes in size.
