NSS Volumes missing on OES11

Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server 11 (OES 11) Linux
SAN or other external storage

Situation

NSS volumes are missing
Pool appears to be active in NSSMU, except the state is "not mounted"
NSSMU does not list any options to manage the pool

Resolution

If there are multiple paths to the SAN, be sure that multipathing is enabled and functioning properly.
