Situation

When attempting to deploy an image to a physical target, the job fails at the "Scheduling Target Machine for Preparing Operating System to Boot" step with the following error:

Conversion failed when converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier

Resolution

Disable multi-pathing for the target machine and attempt the migration again.
