Environment
Novell Client 2 SP2 (IR3) for Windows 7
Situation
When a user logs in, a message appears after loading the desktop, such as:
<TREE_NAME>
You are already logged in to the network as user <username>.
Do you still want to log in as .<username>.<context>?
where the context is a different context than specified on the login screen. If the user clicks on "Yes", they get following error message:
Novell Security Message
The system could not log you into network.
Make sure your name and connection information are correct, then type your password again.
If they click on "No", they will be to enter their username and password on the Novell login screen. If they enter the correct context, the user is able to log in successfully.

3. Click on the eDirectory tab and clear the contents of the Context field
4. Save the changes.
