Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11 Installation - Agent

Situation

Error "The System Restore service is disabled. Returned status: 1058" while installing one of ZCM agent MSI packages:

MSI (s) (5C:F8) [06:42:08:309]: The System Restore service is disabled. Returned status: 1058. GetLastError() returned: 997

Resolution

1) Right click 'Computer' and select 'Properties'
2) Click on 'System Protection'
3) In the list of available drives look for a duplicated entry for the system partition (the same partition twice), one with the word 'Missing' or 'missing'
4) Uncheck/disable system restore for this 'Missing'/'missing' partition
