Novell iPrint Client for Macintosh
Situation
When installing an iPrint printer to Mac version 10.6 or 10.7, the follow message continously pops up:
Printer is already installed
Resolution
Workaround 1: Use the Safari browser
This problem happens only with Firefox version 13 in 64 bit mode. Using the Safari browser avoids the problem.
Workaround 2: Open Firefix in 32 bit mode
Workaround 3: Back rev the version of Firefox to version 12
Additional Information
This problem occurs with the iPrint Client for Mac version 5.06. The iPrint Client 5.06 installs to Mac OS versions 10.6 and 10.7. iPrint Client for Mac version 5.08 does not have this problem and will install on Mac OS versions 10.7 and later. Novell will not release newer versions of the iPrint client for Mac OS versions 10.6 and earlier. Therefore, Novell does not have plans to resolve this problem on Mac OS 10.6 and earlier.
