Novell Data Synchronizer Mobility Pack 1.2.3
Situation
Customers would like to be able to configure Data Synchronizer to
use multiple LDAP servers for rollover/fail-over in case there is a
problem with LDAP.
Resolution
This is currently not available as of version 1.2.3, but is on the
road map for future development. There are two
workarounds:
1) https://www.novell.com/communities/node/8637/ldap-proxy-server-multiple-sources - Point Data Sync to the LDAP proxy and the proxy can be configured for multiple LDAP servers.
2) Use an L4 switch to load balance or route the LDAP traffic.
