Situation
Unable to access iManager via a web browser
Resolution
Things to check when unable to access the iManager web page
- Confirmed that the Tomcat service is running. Try to restart the service.
For OES: /etc/init.d/novell-tomcat5 (start | stop | restart)
For SLES: /etc/init.d/tomcat5 (start | stop | restart)
- Check the log files in the /var/opt/novell/tomcat5/logs directory for an indication as to what may be wrong
- Confirm if the ports 8080 and 8443 are accessible and that the firewall has the ports open
- Confirmed that the Tomcat service is running. Try to restart the service.
