Novell ZENworks Configuration Management
Situation
When carrying out a ZCM primary restore the process crashes with this error in the zman.log:
Error:Failed to restore the configuration files. Ensure that the backed-up file and the passphrase specified are valid and correct. Also, ensure that you have the write permission to /etc/opt/novell/zenworks directory on Linux and <Installation directory>:\NovellZENworks\conf on Windows.
Example command:
zman zsr --debug -V --cleartext c:\restore\zcm-server.bak

Resolution
This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
