Protection Container is in a Virtual Center cluster
Situation
After adding a workload to Protect and running a replication the Protect UI may produce the following error:
Target machine has a network adapter whose mapping to a virtual network is missing. Please Refresh Server Details for the VM server which hosts the target machine.
Resolution
The following VMWare KB will resolve this issue for future replications:
Cause
After the first replication the ESX/VC server has changed the MAC address of at least one NIC on the failover target VM. This change is not updated in Protect.
Additional Information
Refreshing the container may resolve the issue, but in a majority of cases will not help.
