Situation

Unable to download emails on Blackberry PlayBook if Device Security is enabled on the server
Blackberry PlayBook fails to download emails/calendars or contacts if Device Security is enabled on the server

Resolution

This is an issue with Blackberry Playbook. Please contact RIM support.
 
Workaround Steps: 
Uncheck "Enable Device Security Policy: " in WebAdmin | mobility | Connector Settings
