Situation
Tried to install the single box Access Manager 3.2 appliance using the iso file copied to the ESXi 4.1 server file system. After the time zone setting page of the installation the system probes to initialize package manager. At this point, the install throws an error message as shown below:

The Administrator cannot proceed with the installation after this.

Resolution
Upgrade to ESXi 5
