Situation

zmd-messages may grow too big, rug may hang or mono process grow rapidly.

Resolution

Workaround:
 
Stop (or kill) the rug process.  Perform the change below then restart.
 
Comment out  the following line from /etc/logroate.d/zmd-messages
rczmd restart
