Unable to access CaminoSoft Managed Server HSM mount points

Environment

CaminoSoft Technologies, Inc.
Managed Server HSM
SLES 10 SP4 with NSS volume(s)
Novell Client 2 SP2 for Windows 7

Situation

Users are able to map drives to the physical and mount point volumes. However, when accessing a fuser mount point from a Windows 7 workstation, the following symptoms may be seen:

Unable to access the mount point.
Unable to see files in the mount point.
Unable to open file archived and not archived

The system may enter a non-responsive state. If the system does respond, there can be missing files in the root subdirectories.

In some cases, users are unable to even open a non-migrated file.

The problem does not occur with Novell Client 4.91 SP5 for Windows XP/2003.
