Printer Driver Profile creation hangs with "Loading driver configuration"

Environment

Novell iPrint for Linux
Novell iPrint Client for Windows
Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit with Internet Explorer v9 64 bit
Microsoft Windows 7 32 bit with Internet Explorer v9 32 bit

Situation

"loading driver configuration" process will start running but no GUI will be displayed for profile configuration.
Problem occurs with:
Windows 7 64 bit with Internet Explorer v9 64 bit
Windows 7 32 bit with Internet Explorer v9 32 bit

Resolution

Install the iPrint Client version 5.78 or later.  As of the writing of this article (08FEB2012), the 5.78 iPrint Client is an FTF (Field Test File). 
 

As positive feedback continues to be returned regarding this client, it will be transitioned to a Public release.

Workaround for Windows 7 64 bit (not valid for Win7 32 bit):
Run the 32 bit Internet Explorer Browser from a Windows 7 64 bit operating system to configure the 64 bit printer driver.

The Windows API "PrinterProperties" does not return, resulting in a hang.
