After Installing 3rd party Software, ZCM Agent Service does not start and Logon Screens may not be available

Situation

After installing 3rd party software on a 64-bit Windows OS, no logon screen appears after booting the device and it is not possible to logon to Windows or ZCM.
 
The Windows Event Viewer may also report the following for the ZENworks Agent Service attempting to start: "Service cannot be started. System.BadImageFormatException:"

Resolution

Boot the PC in Safe Mode and Re-enable 64-bit .NET, which was disabled by the 3rd party software, using the registry key below:
