Email with images pasted in GroupWise Client and WebAccess isn't the same in Work In Progress folder

Situation

WebAccess and GroupWise Client doesn't show same email message body in "Work In Progress" folder if any image is pasted to email body.
 
Scenario:
 
  1. Login to GroupWise Client as user
  2. Copy and paste any picture into body of email and type in some text as well
  3. Save it in "Work In Progress" folder
  4. Open WebAccess and login as user and browse to "Work In Progress" folder | Open same email and you will find only text and no image in there but can see a square box with red cross instead of picture.
  

Resolution

Workaround:
  1. Login to GroupWise Client as user
  2. Do not paste images to body of email, rather attach images to email body and then save email to Work In Progress
  3. Login as user to WebAccess and browse to "Work In Progress" folder and open email. Image can be seen as attachment and user can open it successfully.
Note:
  • Tested with GroupWise 8 Support Pack 2 Hot Patch 3 and issue still persists
  • Issue has been tested and resolved in Ascot 2012

Issue has been replicated and tested in Ascot 2012 and it's working both in GroupWise Client and WebAccess
