Inventory reports incorrect physical memory amount on Windows XP with 4 GB or more RAM

Situation

When a device has 4 GB or more physical memory, Inventory will report approximately 3.2 GB which is the amount available to the operating system on a 32-bit platform.

Resolution

For ZCM 11.x: This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

For ZMC 10.x: This is fixed in version 10.3.4 - see KB 7008244 "ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3.4 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
