Using Dynamic Local User (DLU) Policy
Situation
After a password change, the user logs back into the Windows machine. After the Novell authentication, the windows authentication is shown, and the option Change Windows password to match Novell password after a successful login is greyed out and cannot be selected.
Resolution
For ZCM 10.x: This is fixed in version 10.3.4 - see KB 7008244 "ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3.4 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
For ZCM 11: This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information
Even with the fix, the change password option will be greyed out under any of the following conditions.
1) User is logging in workstation only
2) The eDirectory password has expired
3) ZCM user login in has not happened
The fix for this problem is when none of the above conditions are met, and the Change Password option is still greyed out.
