Tracking User Changes Made to an iFolder

Particularly with shared iFolders, it may be difficult to track changes made to files and folders within an iFolder, specifically things such as 'who renamed a folder', 'who deleted a file', etc.

 

The purpose of this TID is to show how to track changes made to an iFolder.

Steps to track changes to an iFolder:

1.) Log in to iFolder through the web console (i.e. https://<ip>/ifolder  where <ip> is the IP address of the iFolder server), as the owner of the iFolder being checked.

2.) Select the iFolder in question, from the list of iFolders

3.) Select 'History' from the list of options on the far left

 

The layout of the history is ten entries per page, and may be looked at a page at a time.  The history shows which user is making what changes to the iFolder along with a timestamp of the change being made.  File and folder addition, deletions, and removals are displayed.
