Situation

Excel Add-Ins get installed in GroupWise Silent Mode Installation
setup.cfg is modified to not install Integrations but Excel Add-Ins get installed
Excel Add-Ins get installed in silent mode though it is not enabled

Resolution

Workaround Steps:
Disable the Excel Add-Ins manually
  1. Launch Microsoft Excel.
  2. Click File | Excel Options .
  3. Click Add-Ins.
  4. Under Active Application Add-Ins, it should show "Excel 200x Point-to-Point Integration with GroupWise 8.0"
  5. Select "COM Add-Ins" under Manage and click Go.
  6. Uncheck "Excel 200x Point-to-Point Integration with GroupWise 8.0" or highlight it and click Remove.
  7. Click OK.
Removing it through the Registry. Please be careful while modifying the Registry as incorrectly modifying the registry can corrupt the Windows Operating System. The following Removal can be pushed through the script too

Remove Key HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\OFFICE\EXCEL\ADDINS\GWXL2007.Connect on Windows XP
Remove Key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\gwxl2007.Connect on Windows 7
