Unexpected error while configuring user: UserInfo instance has no attribute 'postOffice'

Environment

Novell Data Synchronizer Connector for GroupWise

Situation

User not displayed in GroupWise Monitor Page under User Status, GroupWise Application Interface log shows following error:

2011-11-22 14:47:50.563 WARNING [CP WSGIServer Thread-3] [gwuser:531] [userID:gspencer] [eventID:] [objectID:] [configureUser] Failed to find user 'abc' in cache or failed GroupWise login! Can not complete this users configurations without logging in.
2011-11-22 14:47:50.565 ERROR [CP WSGIServer Thread-3] [util:251] [userID:] [eventID:] [objectID:] [] EXCEPTION: KeyError: u'abc'


Resolution

Follow the below mentioned steps :

  1. Remove the user from GroupWise Connector.
  2. Remove the user from Mobility Connector.
  3. Remove user from mobility database. Follow the tid : 7008852    
  4. Restart Datasync.
  5. Launch the web console of post office under which user belong.
  6. Go to Configuration tab | Event Configuration list | Select the user from list and Select Delete Event and Delete Event Configuration and submit.
  7. Launch the Consoleone.
  8. Dis-associate and Associate problematic user from ConsoleOne.
  9. Add user GroupWise connector and Mobility Connector.
