Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management Support Pack 1 - ZCM 11 SP1
Situation
Managed devices do not receive new bundle assignments or do not run assigned system updates. System update status says "Update Assigned" even after manually refreshing the workstation.
zmd-messages.log shows:
[Assembly(C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\bin\modules\ContentManager.dll).GetTypes() threw exception during module loading
Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retrieve the LoaderExceptions property for more information.
Loader Exceptions:
0: Could not load file or assembly 'LzmaLib, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Resolution
Additional Information
Anti-Virus was marking LzmaLib.dll as a threat and deleting the file from managed devices. After applying the exclusions in TID 7007545 Recommended ZCM Anti-Virus Exclusions, restoring LzmaLib.dll, and refreshing the workstation bundle assignments were successful and the assigned system update ran automatically.
