Situation
In Inventory History (Inventory tab for device > Detailed Hardware/Software Inventory> history) when clicking on a column heading, the columns do not appear to be correctly sorted.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Additional Information
What is happening when the sort is being done is that the Item column is sorted first, and them for each item, the selected column is sorted (e.g, see below for an example that is sorted by date - the entries for "defaultGateway" are sorted by date, but not the overall list, as would be expected).
