Ricoh drivers do not appear after uploading them to the driver store

Environment

Novell iPrint for Linux
Open Enterprise Server Support Pack 3
Microsoft Windows 7 x86_64
Various Ricoh Print Drivers

Situation

No error occurs during the upload of Ricoh drivers, however the driver does not appear in the list of drivers from the Driver Store.

When installing a Ricoh print driver the following error message occurs:

Error message: iPrint Printer - The printer encountered unknown error 1344.

Error group: iPrint Server
Error code: 1344

Resolution

Steps to Resolve the issue:
  1. Open a terminal and login as root
  2. Run the following command to delete the ids_toc.ini files for each of the drivers. They will be re-indexed when the driver store daemon is restarted.
    "find /var/opt/novell/iprint/resdir/ -iname ids_toc.ini -type f -print0 | xargs -0 rm"
  3. Run "rcnovell-idsd restart"

Now access the driver store again and the Ricoh drivers should appear again.
