Situation
The location of the Monitor Application configuration file (gwmonitor.cfg) changed in GroupWise 8.
Linux - from /opt/novell/groupwise/gwmonitor to /var/opt/novell/groupwise/monitor
Windows - from c:\novell\gwmonitor to c:\novell\groupwise\gwmonitor
Resolution
If you have manually modified settings in your existing gwmonitor.cfg in the old location, you must make the same manual changes to the new gwmonitor.cfg file in the new location. Differences between the old file and the new file are not merged into the new file by the GroupWise Installation program.
