Novell GroupWise 8 Support Pack 2 Hot Patch 2
Situation
When searching for a sub-string from the GroupWise Tools - Find Does not find the mails, Since it requires full string words, or letters.
When searching for "Build" in the GroupWise client, it does not show the mails with the words "Building" or "Builder" but finds the mails with only the word "Build".
Resolution
Use * to match sub-strings. Using comp* will find computer in a search, instead of just finding comp.
Additional Information
Steps to Duplicate:
- Open GroupWise client, click on Tools | Find.
- Enter a Sub-String, in the search field, for example "comp" to find mails with the word "Computer".
- The GroupWise Client searches for only "comp" and shows the mail with the word "comp" and not "Computer".
