Windows 7 64bitNovell iPrint Client for Windows
Non-Administrator User trying to install iPrint Printer from IPP page gets following error :-
ErrorCode:10060, "Winsock 10060 - connection timed out".
Turn on Admin Approval Mode by performing following steps on the problem workstation :-
Windows Settings | Security Settings | Local Policies | Security Option
In right window pane right click and go to Properties of "User Account: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode" and select Enable
With Windows Terminal Server. The solution is to enable the "Special Permissions" for TERMINAL SERVER USER
- Open regedit
- Browse to this location:
- Right-click the 'Printers' folder and choose "Permissions..."
- Highlight the TERMINAL SERVER USER and allow control of the printers.
