Situation
After updating to Macintosh OS X 10.6.8 or Macintosh OX X 10.7 (Lion), the GroupWise 8.0.2x client for Macintosh crashes periodically.
Resolution
A fix for the problem is planned to be available as part of GroupWise 8.02 Hot Patch 3. If you are experiencing the crash before HP3 is publicly available (currently scheduled for early September, 2011), please contact Novell Technical Services and they can provide (at no charge) the pre-release version of the HP3 client for Macintosh that should resolve the crashes.
