Novell Data Synchronizer Mobility Pack 1.2
Situation
After applying patch 1.2 on a Datasync server, iPhone users complain that fully charged iPhone lasts about 4 hours till batteries are completely drained.
Resolution
There was a bug in the 1.2 build which happens during synchronization of Calendar data that caused frequent connection and disconnection of iPhones with the Datasync server. This resulted in higher energy / battery power consumption. The fix is targeted for 1.3 patch release. Until then you can download following file:
which contains the sync.pyc file. However, you can apply on your server that still runs the #579 build all of the files that are included in the download.
