HTML Signature not getting added correctly in the emails

Novell GroupWise 8 Support Pack 2 Hot Patch 2

Situation

Copied a logo and text from a MSWord document to the HTML Signature.
Text and the logo are adjacent to each other in the Word document. But when copied and pasted in the Signature in GroupWise client, text appears below the logo and not adjacent.

Resolution

Reported to engineering.
Fixed in GroupWise Ascot.

Additional Information

Steps to duplicate:
  1. Use GroupWise 8 Support Pact 2 Hot Patch 2 at the client side.
  2. Create a HTML Signature in the GroupWise client and copy a logo and text from MSWord document. (Note the logo and the text is located adjacent to each other in the Word document)
  3. Compose and send an email with the HTML Signature.
  4. Note that the mails sent have the text below the logo and not located adjacent to each other.
