Situation
Groupwise starts correctly but one or more components are listed as "unused" when executing the rcgrpwise status command.
Resolution
The file /etc/opt/novell/groupwise/gwha.conf contains one or more incorrect entries. The first line of each section should contain the name of the component surrounded by brackets ("[" and "]"). Inside should be the name of the component and the name of the domain, as they are defined in eDirectory and ConsoleOne. The correct order is [component.domain].
Correct: [mypostoffice.mydomain]
Incorrect: [mydomain.mypostoffice]
Reversing the order will cause the "unused" status indicator to appear.
The resolution is to open gwha.conf in gedit and fix the incorrect section headers.
