Customised columns in a Shared Address Book do not show up in the Sharee`s Address Book

Environment

Novell GroupWise 8 Support Pack 2 Hot Patch 2

Situation

Shared a GroupWise Address Book and then added an additional column.
Column shows up in the Sharer`s Address Book but do not show up in the Sharee`s Address Book.

Resolution

Reported to engineering.

Additional Information

Steps to duplicate:

  1. Use GroupWise 8 Support Pack 2 Hot Patch 2 at the Server as well as the client side.
  2. Create a Personal Address Book and share it.
  3. Login as the Sharee in GroupWise client and accept the share.
  4. Login as the Sharer in GroupWise client and go to the Address Book.
  5. Add a column to the Personal Address Book created in step 2.
  6. Note that the additional column appears only in the Sharer`s Personal Address Book not visible in the Sharee`s Personal Address Book
