Mailbox sort order is not operating properly when new mail is received.

Novell GroupWise 8 Support Pack 2 Hot Patch 2


Within the GroupWise client mailbox, the sort order is set to descending date.

On occasion, new mail will be received and not appear at the top of the Mailbox. For example, if today is 08/10/11, messages could be sorted in the following order:

08/10/11 4:41 AM
08/10/11 4:27 AM
08/09/11 2:53 PM
08/09/11 2:28 PM
08/10/11 7:46 AM
08/10/11 7:40 AM

Selecting another folder like the Sent Items folder and then coming back into the Mailbox folder will correct the sort order.
