"The module channel-upgrade-oes does not work." (Back, Retry, Quit, Next)

Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux Support Pack 3

Situation

While rebooting after upgrading to Open Enterprise Server 2 SP3, YaST shows an error "The module channel-upgrade-oes does not work." (Back, Retry, Quit, Next)

Resolution

Please check for a directory /y2update on your system. If it exists, please remove it using

  # rm -rf /y2update

Then, reboot and the channel upgrade will come up fine.
