Situation

Configure IMAP for Android Devices.

Resolution

Resolution
  1. Enable IMAP on Postoffice or Gwia.
  2. On Device, Press Home, Then open Email Application.
  3. On the Account Page, select Next get started with setup.
  4. Enter Email address & password, Then select Next.
  5. Select IMAP from type of Account.
  6. On next screen it will give the Account name,Password, IMAP server,Port, Security type.
  7. Type correct user name & password. IP or DNS name for IMAP server & port for IMAP.Select  Next
  8. It will bring outgoing server settings screen.
  9. Type SMTP server IP or DNS name, port for SMTP.Select Next.
  10. It will check for outgoing server settings.
  11. Account options select Email check frequency.Select next 
  12. Account name & choose the name to display on your outgoing messages. Select Done.

Additional Information

Using the Android Native client with GWIA 8, there is an issue where every Sent Item duplicates on the Device. Please look at the following TID for more information
