Situation

Mobility Log file filled with "Waiting for email to sync before syncing linked calendar item"
Mobility Log file keeps on growing huge with the message "Waiting for email to sync before syncing linked calendar item" even when not set to debug
Message "Waiting for email to sync before syncing linked calendar item" over and over again in the Mobility-Appinterface.log file for the same user

Resolution

This only happens if Calendar Sync is enabled on the Device but email is not being synced to the Device. As a workaround, please enable email syncing on the device.

Steps to Duplicate:
  1. Set up user1 in mobility
  2. Configure a device to connect to mobility with user1
  3. Now disable email syncing on the device and make sure only Calendar is selected to sync on the Device
  4. Send an appointment to user1 from user2
    The log file will start showing messages "Waiting for email to sync before syncing linked calendar item"
