Situation
OES2 Services do not start on boot
eDirectory does not start on boot
namcd (lum) does not start on boot
novell-nss does not start on boot
OES2 Services start manually after boot
Interface is configured for startmode='ifplugd'
Resolution
If ifplugd is not needed, change startmode to 'auto' in the correct ifcfg-eth file found in /etc/sysconfig/network.
Additional Information
ifplugd depends on the cable connection to bring up the interface and can take longer to start. If it takes too long to bring up the interface, eDirectory will not be able to load because the network is not available yet.
