Situation

Trying to rename or delete a folder that has a name that is longer than 113 characters

Zone uses a Sybase Database

Error: "An error occurred while trying to rename the object.:org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: could not execute query See the ZENworks Control Center log file (zcc.log) for the full stack trace"

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
