Situation
Unable to login to workstation after upgrade of ZCM agent.
Image safe data is populating old info into the operating system
Note: If DNS or static IP addressing is changed on the workstation it is necessary to make sure that the image safe data is populated correctly before upgrading the ZCM agents.

Note: If DNS or static IP addressing is changed on the workstation it is necessary to make sure that the image safe data is populated correctly before upgrading the ZCM agents.
Resolution
This is working as designed.
This will be an issue if the old Image Safe Data is not updated or correct when the agent is upgraded. It is necessary to clear the image safe data from the hard drive, via ZISWIN.EXE, BOOTCD.ISO, or ZISCLEAR.EXE.
Note: Run "ziswin.exe -clear" will clear the ZISD without prompting but may require rights elevation.
Note: For Windows 7 devices, ZISCLEAR.EXE, has problems running because the security Windows 7 has integrated into the operating system and ZISCLEAR.EXE is a 32-bit application.

Note: The only time Image Safe Data will copy its information into the operating system will be when the "Just Imaged" flag is set. That will happen on an agent upgrade or new install, a new ZEN image has been restored. or if the "Just Imaged" flag is manually set in the Image Safe Data.
