Situation

 Query for work reports : No work to do.
 and
/var/log/messages reports the following:
sles10sat kernel: novell-pbservd[27114]: segfault at 10 ip 000000000805ebfc sp 00000000f739a290 error 4 in novell-pbservd[8048000+27000]
 

Resolution

Workaround:
Verify the server referral list contains only valid IP or DNS entries.

Steps to duplicate:
In ZCC | Configuration | Device Management | Preboot Services | Server Referral List. Enter an incorrect DNS entry.
Restart services
PXE boot a machine.
Confirm the crash in /var/log/messages
