Situation
Access Manager J2EE agent setup on Websphere (window and Linux clients). After importing the Websphere agents into admin console, configuration was completed and updates applied after which the status became green.
After running a stress tests against the Linux and Windows agents, the system started throttling after a period of time with the following messages being displayed:
System Throttle
New authentications are being denied due to low system memory. Threshold 15 Current: 12.978938
(Required Action) You may want to add more memory to the machine.
At this point, access to objects on the Webspehere server is not successful. The Java agent servers had 2GB or RAM only.

At this point, access to objects on the Webspehere server is not successful. The Java agent servers had 2GB or RAM only.
Resolution
New authentications are denied because of low system memory. To work around this issue, add memory to the machine or click the Update from server option for the respective agent until the threshold value reaches zero.
