Clicking the Share Settings TABs with no config changes causes an IDP update to get applied

Environment

Novell Access Manager 3.1 Windows Administration Console Server
Novell Access Manager 3.1 Linux Administration Console Server
Novell Access Manager 3.1 Support Pack 3 applied

Situation

Access Manager setup and working fine. The Administrator browses the Identity Server configuration in iManager and simply looks through the values assigned to the 'Shared Settings' tab eg. attribute sets, user matching profiles, etc. WIthout changing any of the configuration settings, the Adminstrator exists but discovers that there are changes to be applied at the Identity Server.

Resolution

To work around this issue, click Update All to perform a dummy update. There will not be any impact on existing users at the Identity Server. Engineering is aware of the issue and plans to address it in 3.1.4.
