Unable to search any items for the Proxied user

Environment

Novell GroupWise 8

Situation

Proxying to mailbox works fine but unable to find any items in the Proxied mailbox
Find results come blank for the Proxied mailbox though Proxying to it shows items in the Proxied Mailbox
Other users able to search items in the Proxied mailbox
Proxy Find items issue

Resolution

  1. Login as the user who is not able to find any items in the Proxied mailbox.
  2. Click File | Proxy .
  3. Highlight the user from the Proxy List on whom find is being performed and click Remove.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click File | Proxy again.
  6. Click on the Address Book icon besides the Name: field.
  7. Change the Look in: to Novell GroupWise Address Book.
  8. Select the user in the Address List and click OK.
  9. Now try finding and it should work fine.
