How to upgrade third party components of Sentinel RD, Log Manager, and Sentinel 6.1 products.

The Sentinel and Log Manger products use various third party products for core functionality such as Apache Tomcat, Eclipse's Jetty, Apache ActiveMQ, PostgreSQL, etc.  Because these products have patch cycles out of alignment with Novell's products it is sometimes necessary to provide third-party patches to release vulnerabilities in those products.

The purpose of this document is to provide information needed, via other documents, on how to upgrade these third-party components.  This TID will link to other documents as steps are verified to work for each Novell product and its respective third-party components.
