Live migration of Linux workload which uses block-based driver
Situation
This article describes on how to over come the below error which occurs during block based live migration of Linux workload. The job fails with error at sending files or receiving files step under "Copying volume data from source to target" step.
"Unexpected - CopyFiles() - Output stream ended unexpectedly; file name:......See diagnostics for details."
Resolution
The workaround is to create one vmdk disk per volume for target virtual machine during the job configuration.
